Dr. Saiku grew up in a Navy family, living between Japan and Washington State before earning a degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Washington. After working in microbiology research, he earned his dental degree from NYU College of Dentistry in 2021 and completed a residency at St. Joseph’s Health Hospital.

Now living in the Syracuse area, Dr. Saiku enjoys hiking, running, skateboarding, and spending time with his partner, Kate, and their five children.
